Biodeiesel Wins Green Grand Prix for Second Year in a Row
For the second
year in a row, New England Biodiesel took a top prize at the
Green Grand Prix in Watkins Glen, NY. This years SCCA
time/distance road rally began promptly at 9:30 AM on May 3,
2008 with a field of 46 entrants. Bill took first place in the
MPG category with his 1990 "Diesel Davidson" Motorcycle, getting
89 miles to the gallon. Bill, the motorcycle, and Pit Crew can
be seen at
http://www.greengrandprix.com. Kathy also participated in
the time/speed/distance rally in a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500, powered
by B100 biodiesel.
March 1st 2008:
New England Biodiesel unveiled their Mobile Demonstration unit,
which will allow New England Biodiesel to give off site
presentations. Schools and organizations can contact New
England Biodiesel at 774-696-2343 to arrange for a biodiesel
presentation at their location.
February 28th
2008: New England Biodiesel and FuelMeister exhibited at the
Green Products Expo in NYC, where they met with 300+ media
(newspaper, magazine and TV) editors.
February 27th
2008: New England Biodiesel delivered a FuelMeister to the
Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in NYC who will use their
own cooking oil to make biodiesel to power their grounds and
other equipment. Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts are a
very green company, and this will allow them to be even more
environmentally conscious.
