buy arc raiders weapons: Resets of the skill tree, buffs to Shredders and Events
Raiders! We are back on the field. It's a massive update, the December Update 1.7.0. This isn't a simple patch, but a fundamental change in the way we handle our economy and our weapons.
There's a lot of information to be unpacked, from the much-anticipated skill tree reset to a new festive event. There are also some changes under the hood to the AI of enemies and loot tables. You should be aware of these before you start your next raid.
This is a deep dive into what's happening in arc raiders rmt.
Progression and Economy Overhaul
This update has made the biggest structural changes to how we manage character growth and currency. The developers have finally listened to your requests for more flexibility. However, it will come at a price.
Reset the Skill Tree
We can now reset our skill tree. This is a huge game changer for those who regret their early build decisions, or want to change our playstyles without having to start a new character.
This is not a service that's free.
The cost is 2,000 coins for each skill point.
You can't refund individual skills at the moment. You must reset the entire tree. Resetting a tree of a medium-to-high-level cost me upwards to 118,000 coins.
The result: All token points will be reallocated once you have paid. You can then start over.
The price is high, but this adds an important gold sink to the economy and allows veteran players to optimize their builds for the meta.
Credit Soft Cap
Your wallet's UI may have changed. There is a new soft limit of 800 credits.
Why did they do that? It is intended to stop players from hoarding huge amounts of credits in order to unlock Raider decks instantly the moment they are released. Developers want us to play the game to earn new content and not buy it with a large stockpile.
What it means to you:
Don't panic if you have thousands of credit cards. It will appear as if you have a lot of credits. You won't earn any new credits until your balance falls below 800.
Weapons and AI: Combat Balance
The combat meta-game has changed significantly. The Betina is given a new lease of life while the Shredder has become a terrifying enemy.
Weapon Modifications
The Betina assault weapon has always been underwhelming. This often forces players to heavily rely on a second weapon. This update is designed to change that.
The New Shredder Threat
It is important to note that the Shredder has become a unit.
This enemy becomes faster and more aggressive by reducing its knockback and improving the navigation path (to make it less likely to get stuck). It is no longer possible to stun-lock or rely on the enemy getting stuck on terrain. Treat these engagements very carefully if you're heading to Stella Montis. They have turned the Shredder in to a relentless pursuit.
The Flickering Flares Event
The Cold Snap Update introduces the festive Flickering Flames Event. This is a merit based event. You can progress by simply playing, looting and extracting.
The New Shredder Threat
It is important to note that the Shredder has become a unit.
This enemy becomes faster and more aggressive by reducing its knockback and improving the navigation path (so that it doesn't get stuck as often). It is no longer possible to stun-lock or to rely on the enemy getting stuck on terrain. Treat these engagements very carefully if you're heading to Stella Montis. They have turned the Shredder in to a relentless pursuit.

Key Objectives
Candle Berries are the main event currency that you can find during raids.
The first stage of the Candle Light Project requires an empty wine bottle, plastic parts, durable cloth, and Candle Berries.
Reward:
The Space Wrench and High-Tech Hiker skins are yours when you complete the event track. Space Wrench doesn't only look good, it is also part of a new tool customization system. The ability to attach Raider tools is finally here, hinting at more customization in future patches.
Map Changes and Quality of Life
Stella Montis, Bluegate and other maps received significant updates.
Stella Montis Loot Buff
Stella Montis is the place to go if you feel that your blueprint drop rate has been too low in the past.
Before writing this guide I played two games, and it was like night and day. I was able to extract two new blueprints in a 15-minute run. Developers have increased the spawn rate of blueprints and items. The Aphelon blueprint has also been moved to the Stella Montis general loot table from the Matriarch boss. No longer do you need to grind a boss in order to obtain it.
Fixes and Features that are Critical
ADS Toggle - PC players rejoice! Aim Down Sights can now be toggled in the settings. This is a huge feature for long-range engagements.
Epic Key Rooms - The loot values in Epic Keycard Rooms have been increased to reflect their rarity. Keycards are now rewarding and not a gamble.
Bug fixes: The animation bug that caused the arms to twist has been fixed, as well as the audio issue in which the shield of the Matriarch could be penetrated with Bombardier projectiles.
FAQ: Update 1.7.0
Q: If I make a mistake, can I just reset one skill point?
A: No. The system currently only allows a complete tree reset. A full tree reset costs approximately 2,000 coins.
A: Have they fixed the shotgun exploit or not?
A: Yes. This exploit, which allowed players to bypass shotguns' fire rate cooling down by swapping weapons quickly, has been patched.
Q: Where can I find the latest blueprints?
A: Stella Montis. The spawn rate has been significantly increased, and blueprints such as the Aphelon have now become part of the loot pool.
The Bone Crown is now free.
The Bone Crown Set is not a featured item. It costs approximately $15.99, depending on where you live. The set includes the outfit, Reliquary back pack, and 2,400 Raider Tokens.
Final Thoughts
This update has been the most positive thing that happened to ARC Raiders for months. The credit cap may annoy hoarders and the Shredder buff might cause frustration in the short-term, but the structural changes are good.
Stella Montis' loot tables respect your time, and you can finally use the Betina. The Cold Snap event offers a great opportunity to log in again, try out the ADS toggle and see if your AI can handle the increased aggression.
